Holiday Catering, Delivery and Recipe Ideas

The holiday season is a beautiful time to be with family and friends. Spirits are high and giving is too. Giving isn’t just about presents, it’s also about giving your time to helping others, giving yourself a shoulder if this is a particularly difficult time for someone, invite someone or as many as you can to join your family at your home. We have much to be thankful for, even though there has been plenty of unfortunate things happening in our world recently. This makes it an especially important to do what we can. 

 

On that note, this holiday season, do something new; treat yourself to letting Lisa prepare and deliver your sides the day before Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. All you need to do is roast your turkey, or whatever you’ve decided to prepare as your main course, and make your dessert. In the spirit of giving, I am offering a 15% discount for all holiday events until January 1, 2017!  

 

Not only is Lisa available for those days, she is available for other holiday parties, but book soon as she is getting booked up! Keep your stress level low during the holidays by letting Lisa do your shopping for you if you’re preparing your entire meal yourself. Her fee for this is $25.00 per hour. She’s a speedy shopper too!

 

 

This gorgeous turkey may as well have been basted or stuffed under the skin with Butter Barn Butter’s Exclusive Shallot Thyme Butter- just add a little chicken stock to your melted butter and baste every 30 minutes. It’s that simple! Available after October 25, 2017 through Jan. 1, 2018 at Erewhon Calabasas.

 

If you’re doing a lamb or beef crown roast, you can just melt the butter and drizzle some on the top of the sliced meat. 

 

If you’re a vegetarian and are preparing sweet potatoes, butternut squash or spaghetti squash, you bake it with the butter. Or use this butter in place of the butter you use in your stuffing!
